GUNC Stars Reach Field Guide
Stars Reach: Character stats, status & durability
Your Profile shows more than Health. It also shows Stamina, Focus, recovery stats, active effects, food effects, and other details that matter before a long trip.
Health, Stamina, and Focus each have a maximum, a recovery stat, and a stat that improves how that resource performs. The same Profile screen also shows effects, friends, citizenship, and other character information.
The three character resources
Getting ready for a long trip
Look at all nine stats rather than judging the character by Health alone.
Identify helpful buffs, harmful conditions, and recent food effects before choosing supplies.
Tools and weapons lose durability as you use them. This is normal upkeep, and Repair Kits keep them usable.
Find the nearest camp, ReLife point, or world portal before beginning a dangerous fight or a long trip.
Choose where to return
Last Station returns you to the world station or to a camp where you preserved yourself.
World Station returns you to the world's portal.
The gravemarker holds inventory gathered since the last time you entered a Homestead, zoning lot, or camp.
A second death removes the older gravemarker and the items it held.
Getting your items back
The red waypoint leads to the gravemarker. Stop nearby and look around before making the last run.
Ask for help, draw creatures away, or come from another direction if the marker is still dangerous.
Walking over the gravemarker returns the inventory it holds. There is no extra interaction to finish.
Enter a Homestead, zoning lot, or camp after the recovery so those items are preserved again.
Healing wounds
A wound lowers the maximum Health, Stamina, or Focus you can recover. Normal regeneration stops at the gray section.
Inside a Homestead, zoning lot, or camp, another player can use /dance to heal your wounds.
The dance has to come from another player, so return the favor when they are wounded.
Different jobs need different preparation
Mining, Maker fights, construction, and long surveys put different pressure on a character. Bring food, medicine, equipment, and Active skills that fit the job.
Equipment quality is only part of a build. Skills change what you can do with an item, while the Q and E loadout changes how it behaves in the field.
