GUNC Stars Reach Field Guide
Stars Reach: Planet health & Servitor edicts
The Ecology Kiosk shows the health of Flora, Fauna, and Minerals. Open the individual entries too, because one resource can be in trouble even when its overall group looks healthy.
The Ecology Kiosk tracks Flora, Fauna, and Minerals. A low resource can trigger a Servitor edict. The edict won't stop your tool, but if you ignore it, Servitor drones will spawn and hunt you.
Flora, Fauna, and Minerals
Take what you need and move on
Visit the Ecology Kiosk before organizing heavy mining, hunting, clearing, or harvesting.
Flora, Fauna, or Minerals can look healthy overall while one plant, creature, or material is in trouble.
Check the recipe or GovBot amount instead of clearing everything nearby.
Use another area or planet when the nearest population or deposit has already seen a lot of gathering.
When a recipe accepts a material group, another item in that group may let a scarce resource recover. Trading is another option.
If several players are taking the same thing, have somebody return to the Kiosk and look at that entry again.
Give the resource some time
Gather something else or move to another planet, and let nearby players know which entry has the warning.
Use a Trowel to plant the seeds you have gathered. After the flora grows, harvest it for materials or more seeds.
Backfill holes, move tailings off paths, control fire, and leave the area safe to cross.
Use what the Kiosk shows then instead of guessing at a recovery time.
