Stars Reach: Useful commands

Use /help to see the current chat, mood, emote, and command help from inside the game.

Open chat and type /help. The game can list chat forms, moods, speaking styles, emotes, and available commands.

Start with /help

Type /help to see the five help areas: chat, moods, say, emotes, and commands.

For one command, type /help followed by its name. For example, /help unstuck.

Chat with other players

/say <message>Sends a message to players in a moderate radius around you.

/yell <message>Sends a message to players in a large radius.

/whisper <player> <message>Sends a private message to a nearby player.

/emote <message>Performs a custom action.

Moods and emotes

/mood happySets happy as the mood for your chat messages until you change it.

/happy This is great!Uses a mood for one message instead of keeping it active.

/moodsLists the chat moods available in the current game.

/danceAt a camp or another safe place, dance for another player to help recover their wounds. They can dance for you too.

Useful commands to look up

/homesteadsType /help homesteads to see its current use.

/locType /help loc to see its current use.

/mycamp and /mygraveType /help followed by either command name to see its current use.

/unstuckType /help unstuck to see its current use before you need it.

/clearui, /emote, /friends, /help, /homesteads, /loc, /logout, /missions, /mood, /moods, /mycamp, /mygrave, /redeemkey, /relife, /reply, /reportbrokencharacter, /tell, /title, /tutorial, /unstuck, /wait, /wallet, and /zonename.

Type /help emotes for the full emote list, or /help say for the different ways your character can speak. A few easy ones to try are /wave, /cheer, /sit, /thumbsup, /salute, /bow, /clap, /thank, /salsa, and /sigh.
