GUNC Stars Reach Field Guide

Stars Reach: Welcome to the Garden

Haven teaches the basics. After that, you are free to follow whichever part of the game catches your interest.

Stars Reach does not lock you into a class or a single quest line. You can survey, gather, craft, build, fight, trade, or help a township, and you can move between those roles as you learn more skills.

What sounds fun?

ProfessionsStart with an activity you enjoy. The Skill Kiosk shows which prerequisites and costs come before the skill you want.
A first craftMake something you can use. A recipe might name Amethyst, ask for a Common Gemstone, or allow any Gemstone, so look at each ingredient before gathering.
SurveyingThe Pathfinder reveals terrain inside the game. Listen to its changing tone, watch the compass, and use the map to decide where to survey next.
Township lifeA township lets you pitch in on GovBot level upgrades, trade with neighbors, and help with shared spaces.

How the pieces fit together

A survey can lead you to a useful resource. That resource may become a refined material, a component, or a finished item, and trade can move the result to someone who needs it.

Excavations, roads, buildings, and heavy gathering remain part of the world other players share. Check planet health and leave public routes safe while you work.

Recipe, skill, item, and world details can change as Stars Reach develops. When a guide and the current game disagree, follow what the game shows.

Where to go next
