Check your crafting stations

If you’ve been crafting recently, you may have noticed a few changes. The latest 8.5.1 hotfix moved some items to other production centers or skillsets.

Here are some key changes to look out for:

  • Advanced Electronic Furnishing moved from Circuit Bench IV to VI.
  • Hexalamps moved from Lathe III to VI, with added skill nodes.
  • Colored rugs moved from Lathe III to V, with a dedicated skill node added for them.
  • Six furnishings moved from Field Fabricator II to III and are now unlocked through the Settlement Furnishing Node.
  • Beacon Core and Optical Sensor Array moved from Circuit Bench IV to V.
  • Pressure Vessel moved from Machine Shop IV to V, with its recipe grants transferred.

What might come next?

The last fireside chat faced significant problems with the video streaming service, and much of it moved over to Discord instead.

In case you missed it, the developers mentioned expecting one small patch such as 8.5.1, followed by a larger “Feature Patch”.

If they keep the current cadence, that could mean a feature patch next week. The roadmap suggests we may see hard grouping, more inventory management QOL improvements, or a new Galactic Map.

That’s an expectation, not a confirmed release date or feature list.
